I got some pieces of the body of the cool thing whacked out of some scrap wood,
but I wasn't able to get any pictures of it because I'm moving out of my house
into an extended-stay hotel for a while before I move to an apartment, so I can't
get the pictures for quite a while. Sorry about that - I'm really bummed now. I'll
get the pictures up as soon as I actually sleep in a place where I at least rent it.
Not much to show yet, but:
This is the full-scale paper template I'm going to use to make the basic shape in
the wood.
This is the same paper template with a full-sized MAC-11 submachine gun for scale
The template again with a Super 9 Sniper rifle now for scaling. Carbines are a lot
shorter.
The templates of what I'll actually make - the modular components of the rifle.
Note that the front end of the buttstock will actually still be attached to the
carbine's receiver.
